In therapy we identify what matters and what may be holding you back from achieving your goals.  Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and others, we explore how thinking affects behavior, develop effective coping skills, and experience willingness to live life as it is when it is aligned with our values.

I have been a practicing mental health clinician since 2012 and have worked in both public and private healthcare systems serving adults with a range of issues and diagnoses including mood disorders, relationship problems, substance use, and psychosis.  I have been fully licensed in the state of Washington since 2016 and am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the Clinical Social Work Association (CSWA).  If you have questions, call to schedule a free consultation.  I look forward to talking with you.

Trust and feeling understood are so important in in therapy.  My approach is to listen and get to know both you and your goals for therapy.  You are the expert in your own life and your time is valuable.  During sessions, I ask questions to help us both understand what your goals are and how to focus treatment to get there.  I have a conversational style and am naturally curious, which helps session flow smoothly and feel comfortable discussing personal issues and details about yourself and your life.

Sessions are conducted via secure video and you can connect using a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone.  After a free 15-minute consultation call we schedule a therapy session, and you receive a link to the secure client portal where you complete paperless intake, schedule sessions, send secure messages, and more.

Outside of sessions you can use the portal to send secure messages and other resources and tools I provide to help extend the work outside of the virtual therapy room.
