I graduated from the University of Washington School of Social Work in 2012 with my Masters of Social Work Degree. Following graduation, I worked in Community Mental Health providing Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health Counseling in Seattle, WA. In 2014 I began working at the Department of Veterans Affairs supporting Veterans with Severe Mental Health Issues. I have been fully licensed since 2016.
During my career I have worked with a range of issues and Mental Health diagnoses, providing support and counseling to facilitate positive change and promote Recovery. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing among other interventions to help clients identify their values and in what areas they would like to affect change. My specialties include counseling for Depression, Anxiety, Self-Esteem, Life Transitions, Relationship Issues, and more.
Personally, I live with a mental health diagnosis and have attended treatment and counseling to support my own Recovery.
